Scholarship Programs for Studying in China

Types of Scholarships

1. Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC)

Study in China through the Chinese Government Scholarship (CSC)! This scholarship is awarded by the China Scholarship Council to international students from countries other than China to pursue Bachelor's, Master's, PhD, or other programs in China.

2. Local Government Scholarship

Local governments and city authorities in China also offer scholarships to international students from all countries to study in China. Applicants considering studying in China may apply. Qualification criteria and registration dates are available, and applicants receive full support throughout the application process.

3. University-Sponsored Scholarship

4. Confucius Institute Scholarship

Mandarin language scholarships in China are issued by the Confucius Institute. They are the primary institution responsible for Mandarin language studies under China's scholarship programs. 5. MOFCOM Scholarship and Others

Through the Ministry of Commerce, the MOFCOM scholarship is granted to further strengthen cooperation between China and other countries in talent development and skills exchange. Applicants can only obtain this scholarship through their respective government and embassy.

6. Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Scholarship

There are dozens of other scholarships offered by the Chinese Government Scholarship Council, including the Belt and Road, Great Wall, EU & AUN programs, and many more. Qualifications and further details vary from one program to another.
